About Julietta:
Als Julietta Anfang der Neunziger die ersten House Partys für sich entdeckte, waren Moodymann und Maurizio zwei der Produzenten, die sie so faszinierten, dass sie begann, selbst nach elektronischer Musik zu forschen. Regelmässig stand sie in den Plattenläden, um nach neuen Chicago-House und Detroit-Scheiben zu suchen – damals noch ohne irgendwelche DJ-Ambitionen. Sie machte Zwischenstation beim Radio, wo sie eine der ersten süddeutschen elektronischen Radiosendungen moderierte. Ende der Neunziger hatte sie ihren ersten Gig im legendären Ultraschall in München, der ihr sofort eine Residency anbot.
Sie war stets vielseitig im Münchener Nachtleben aktiv und hat sich im Laufe der Jahre längst auch weit über Deutschlands Grenzen hinaus einen exzellenten Ruf als DJ erspielt – in renommierten Clubs wie beispielsweise Panoramabar (Berlin), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), Rex (Paris), T Bar (London), Colors Studio (Tokio), Arma17 (Moskau), Flex (Wien), Club 11 (Amsterdam), Bar13 (New York), Cocoliche (Buenos Aires), Cocoon (Frankfurt), oder auch auf Festivals wie die Love Parade oder Sonnemondsterne. Nach knapp 100 weltweiten Gigs im Jahre 2007 zählt sie inzwischen neben dem Harry Klein eine wachsende Zahl an Resident-Clubs in Europa.
Ihr Stil bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen House und Techno mit all seinen Facetten, der sich bei ihr durch eine erstaunliche Mischung an raren alten und modernen Tracks auszeichnet. Sie hat ein besonderes Gespür für die richtige Platte auf dem Dancefloor, wobei sie es immer schafft, einen intensiven und spannungsgeladenen Bogen zu erzeugen, der die Hörer bis zur letzten Platte fesselt.
2009 gründet sie mit dem restlichen Resident Kollektiv des Clubs das hauseigene Label Harry Klein Records, dessen erster Release Anfang 2010 an den Start geht.
About Ana:
Already in her childhood ANA began to develop a special passion for music. Besides playing instruments a huge variety of sound styles were experienced. Over the years she got a keen musical background of different sounds. As a result, distinctive sounds influenced ANA`s music taste which she merges to her own unique style. She has a great sense for groove and anticipated the mood of the crowd. Her style with its specific tailored groove is an inspiring blend of rare old and modern tracks, which varies between house and techno with tribal, dubby, swinging or intense beats.
After being heavily submerged in old school Hip Hop ANA found a new light and direction in electronic music. She found herself more and more with her head in her record box to being behind the decks in a club or just out there on the dancefloor. The electronic music bug had bitten her hard.
Her first love was the music that drove her to organize her own underground parties under the eventlabel eZOO with her mate dawnrock. They became very popular in munich and else where throughout Europe. In the same named internet based radioshow they present modern electronic music where they`ve had a long list of taste-making guests. At the moment they host their eZOO night in some of the most exciting venues expanding outside Europe.
Her dedication to music and her deck skills made her soon to be invited to play in clubs. Within a very short while the renowned HARRY KLEIN club offered her a much sort after residency. Since 2005 people have had the chance to listen to ANA at the popular Munich Hot spot. 2006 she stepped up for play other cities in Europe, include prolific clubs such as Robert Johnson (FFM), Kassablanca (Jena), or events like Housrepublic (Italy), Sonne, Mond & Sterne, Partysan Yachting, Thaibreak, Rave on Snow, Loveparade. Also in lots of clubs in countries like Russia, Switzerland, Spain, France, Netherlands, Romania, Croatia and the list goes on and on.
So where does ANA go from here? It seems inevitable for her to step into the studio and get to work on what as been the eagerly anticipated first EP, which is sure to culminate in all the aspects and important elements that make ANA’s musical style so unique.
