About Dario Zenker:
Dario Zenker has grown in the course of the time into an inherent part in matter of innovative, electronic music. The inhabitant of Munich is active in the scene for many years and a full blood musician. What confused us in the legendary and musically pedagogic „Green Room“ of Munichs Ultraschall years ago, the modern artist packs it up stimulatingly, unconventionally and brings it on the Mainfloor. Whether live played or mixed, Dario controls his audience. His sets are very multisided, sometimes more technoid and sometimes more housy, but always with a lot of sense for the crowd and an unique groove. All together with a laxity as if the 26 year old has nothing else on his mind. No wonder it all ended up like this. Since his childhood he was obsessed with music. At the age of 13 he met Dj's from all over the world which were playing at Ultraschall and found accomodation in his old flat. Cessation is not an option for him. Techno becomes his passion and for that he lives meanwhile up to a 100%. Since 2006 he's resident at Harry Klein and as expected the first releases came out the same year. Since 2008 he's an inherent part of the Vakant crew. His inspiration is life and everything around him, hence, his sound is also enormously many-sided, from mega deep or dubstep up to peak time bomb everything is present. If he doesn't make music, he listens a lot to jazz and old NYC Hip Hop, but also all other kinds of music. Together with his brother he runs the label Ilian Tape and is a part of Harry Klein Records.
Dario Zenker ist im laufe der zeit zu einer festen größe in sachen innovativer elektronischer musik herangewachsen. der münchner ist seit jahren in der szene aktiv und vollblut musiker. was uns vor jahren im legendären und musikalisch bildenden „grünen raum“ des ultraschall verwirrte, verpackt der moderne künstler anregend, eigenwillig und bringt es auf den mainfloor. ob live gespielt oder gemixt, dario hat sein publikum im griff. seine sets sind sehr vielseitig- mal technoider mal housiger, aber immer mit viel gespür für die crowd und einem einzigartigen groove. und das ganze mit einer lässigkeit als hätte der 84' er jahrgang in seinem leben nichts anderes im sinn gehabt. das musste auch so kommen, denn dario war schon in seiner kindheit immer musik besessen. schon mit 13 jahren traf er dj's aus aller welt, die damals im münchner ultraschall aufgelegt haben und in seiner alten wohnung unterkamen.stillstand kennt er nicht. techno wird zur leidenschaft und für die lebt er mittlerweile zu 100%. seit 2006 ist er resident im harry klein und im selben jahr erscheinen erwartungsgemäß auch die ersten releases. seit 2008 ist er fester bestandteil der vakant crew. seine inspiration ist das leben und alles was um ihn herum passiert, daher ist sein sound auch enorm vielseitig, von mega deep oder dubstep bis hin zu peak-time ist alles dabei. wenn er nicht gerade musik macht hört er viel jazz und alten nyc hip hop, aber auch alle möglichen anderen arten von musik. zusammen mit seinem bruder betreibt er das label ilian tape und ist teil von harry klein records.
